The Product Manager career tracks

There are 2 PM tracks at Simply Wall St: the individual contributor track and the manager track.

Individual contributor track: Consists of Product Managers who are focused on personal contribution to our product. There are a number of levels (from Junior PM to Principal PM) that correspond to the seniority of our PM and reflects the increasing impact, scope and responsibilities for each level within Simply Wall St product function.

Manager track: Consists of PMs who also focus on people management and development. There are 3 levels that correspond to the managerial seniority of our managers and reflect the increasing impact, scope and responsibilities for each level.

Product Managers in this track can still be hands so there’s a minimum requirement that they hit at least the Senior PM level, but we don’t expect them to be the strongest PM in the organisation. Their main focus is around team and people management.
